As an owner of BurkeenClagg, Shawn oversees all aspects of the firm. His specialized expertise includes tax and accounting for small business and veterinary practices.
Prior to establishing the firm with Beth, Shawn spent six years in public accounting in the Dallas,Texas area. A native of McAlester, Shawn moved back to Oklahoma in 2005 to be closer to family and friends where he and Beth worked together at a local CPA firm.
Shawn graduated from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and VetPartners.
In his leisure time, Shawn enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
